Accessibility statement

Uncover UGC is built to be usable by everyone, including creators who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard only, voice control, or magnification. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), across our public pages and the member app.

What we've built in

  • A “Skip to content” link and a single main landmark on every page.
  • Labelled buttons, inputs, and icon-only controls for screen readers.
  • Full keyboard operation with a visible focus ring, and no keyboard traps in dialogs.
  • Text and interface colors checked for contrast against our cream and forest palette.
  • A Reduce motion toggle in the footer, plus automatic respect for your system “reduce motion” setting.
  • Status messages announced politely, so saves and errors aren't silent.
  • Tap targets sized for comfortable use on a phone.

Known limitations

Some areas are still being improved: a few data-dense admin tables, third-party embeds we don't control (payment forms and video players), and older uploaded media that may not yet have descriptive captions. If something blocks you, tell us — we prioritize fixes that unblock a real person.

Requesting an accommodation

Email hello@uncoverugc.com with the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use. We reply within two business days and will offer an alternate way to complete anything that isn't yet accessible.

How we test

We run automated accessibility checks (axe) against our public pages and core app screens on every release, and do manual keyboard and screen-reader passes on checkout and the dashboard.
